As a classically trained sculptor from the Academy of Fine Arts in Paris, Kirstine Hindhede is trained to work with aesthetics, lines and models.

In linking aesthetics and function, she takes as her starting point the old hooked plants in the spaces that exist and identify and build on already existing qualities.

“It is a criterion for success to avoid major construction work. Partly to disturb the garden as little as possible, and partly because the soil is compressed under the large machines, which is the opposite of a beautiful, blooming garden.”

Kirstine Hindhede’s vision is to work with the built-in connection between humans and nature by sometimes planting densely and high, so that the body can experience the life that unfolds at eye level. Knowing that others, e.g. butterflies, need air, space, warmth and completely different conditions.

The dream is to facilitate more space for more life.,
