The Rich Flavours
Our restaurant serves locally produced food cooked with inspiration from western Piemonte with a French influence.
The menus in the restaurant have been composed by designer and owner of La Cassera, Mikal Harrsen, who has a lifelong passion for food.
The menu consists of some of the most carefully produced food from the region and focusses on vegetables, local meat and cheeses and wines from Piemonte and France.
Every Tuesday and Friday morning we have a local marked in the nearby city of Acqui Terme where you can buy food from all over Italy. Near the marked you will also find food stores with specialties from Piemonte.
The vegetables used in our restaurant are carefully selected and have the rich flavours that come from natural maturing processes.
Piemonte is famous for its meat and we have found some of the best butchers who come with meat from well treated animals.
We will always recommend that you combine your piece of meat with some of the delicious vegetable dishes and we are happy to recommend a suitable wine.
Our wine cellar is a collection of carefully curated wines from the region as well as best in class wines from French and German wineries.
Our focus is crafting and close collaboration with the wineries and we coordinate visits to some of the most beautiful and interesting wineries nearby.
